Mission Statement
The mission of the Eighth Ward Democratic Executive Committee is to activate the Democratic voters of the Eighth Ward, connect them to their party and their government and effect their political will. To this end the Eighth Ward Democratic Executive Committee shall: 1.) educate residents about the mechanics of voting, including registration and absentee balloting; 2.) solicit views and concerns from the residents of the Ward 3.) help residents evaluate candidates; 4.) help residents influence the actions of public officials.
